Come up with a good username from your point of view

From the point of view of you as a character, create at least 4 Instagram posts that contain an image/video, caption and hashtag(s).
When selecting images or creating video clips think about:
Words and actions that demonstrate the topic.
Photos and videos that would clearly show what your character would have posted if they were using Instagram years ago.
Evidence page includes at least 4 relevant, events, quotes or paraphrases from the text(s) to support details listed on the poster
Evidence goes beyond what was explicitly taught in class
All evidence (events, quotes and paraphrases) are accurately cited with page numbers
Start thinking like your Odyssey character (The tone of the posts should sound like they would actually come from your character.)
Look at the topic you choose. (Your picture/video, caption and hashtags should relate to one of the topics below. Your posts should give CLEAR examples of your topic.)
By today’s standards, Odysseus is (or is not) a hero because. . .
Penelope is the true hero of this epic because. . .
Odysseus’ best trait is _______, and we can learn from him because…
Women were stronger/weaker in ancient Greece than they are today. Explain.
It is better to be loved than feared as a leader (or feared than loved). Explain.
Write several drafts first. (Make sure you are posting as the Odyssey character back in the setting of the book, not today.)
Front-load the important stuff. (Put important information at the beginning of the caption to catch attention.)
Include a call-to-action. (Use action verbs to prompt people to do something, instead of just passively scrolling by. Ask a question. Send them to a link. )
Limit yourself to four hashtags. The hashtags should relate to your topic and the book and should be located at the end of your caption.)
Use emojis. (Limit yourself to 3 emojis that represent the character you are from years ago. You will need to be creative. Emojis can add some personality to the caption or emphasize something. They should relate to the caption. Using emojis at the beginning of post can catch people's eye or in the middle of sentences to replace words.)
