Action research is a research method that aims to simultaneously investigate and solve an issue. You will conduct research and takes action at the same time.
It was first coined as a term in 1944 by MIT professor Kurt Lewin. It is an interactive form of systematic inquiry, it prioritizes reflection and bridges the gap between theory and practice.
Due to the nature of the research, it is also sometimes called a cycle of action or a cycle of inquiry.

What is an Action Plan?
An action plan for a cause or issue is like a step-by-step guide that shows how to make things better. It's a list of tasks and ideas to solve a problem or support something important. The plan explains what needs to be done, who will do it, and when. It's a roadmap to turn good ideas into real actions that can create positive changes or improvements for the cause or issue they care about.
