Tips on Staying Well During COVID-19
· Keep a regular routine
· Wake up at your regular time and rest when you normally rest
· Eat regular meals
· It's easy to forgo preparing 3 healthy meals a day when our routine gets thrown off.
· Don’t forget to eat some veggies and fruits! Nutrition can have a major impact on our mood and overall physical well-being
· Take movement breaks during the day
· It easy to lose track of how long you’ve been answering emails or working on a project when you are out of your routine
· Reach out and connect
· The important act of social distancing can lead to feelings of isolation. Try to reach out and connect with others within the guidelines of social distancing
· Make a phone call to a loved one (yes! I mean call not text!)
· Have a Facetime session with a friend or family member
· Get together for a Skype lunch with your buddies
· Go outside, but follow social distancing guidelines
· Go for a walk or jog
· Stand in the sun for a minute or two if you can find it

Meals for Students- locations and pickup sites and time
Understanding that it is challenging for students to concentrate on learning if they are hungry, Governor Walz’s executive order to close schools also requires school districts to provide meals to students throughout the school closure. All students can receive meals regardless of their free/reduced meal status. Beginning Monday, March 30, Fridley Public Schools will expand its meal service options to provide bagged lunch and breakfast for Fridley students. We are sending all our families the following information on school meals to help them plan accordingly.
MEAL DISTRIBUTION GUIDELINES
To support required guidelines for social distancing, and to ensure an efficient process of distributing meals to students, please be aware of the following:
· Students must be 18-years old or younger to receive meals.
· Students must be present when picking up meals.
· When picking up meals, please maintain social distancing of 6 feet from others in the line and staff. If you are coming to one of the listed stops, please line up in a single file line behind the posted orange cones.
· You will be able to pick up one bagged meal containing lunch for the day and breakfast for the next day for each child 18-years old and younger.
· Upon arriving at a school meal distribution site, please take the food bags from the table. If you are not able to get out of your vehicle, a staff member will hand you the food bags. To prevent back up, we are asking that parents and students leave the area as soon as they have received their meals.
· No meals will be consumed on site. Please take the meals with you and eat at home.
· Distance learning materials will also be available for students who do not have technology.
