Mrs. Eipperle

Welcome!

My name is Mrs. Eipperle but you may know me as Miss Ozan! I got married this summer and am now officially Mrs. Eipperle, and so darn excited!

I am excited to be teaching Chemistry and Physics/Chemistry X at Chanhassen High School.

I can't wait to explore science together, discover new things, and share some science puns with you!

This is my fifth year in the district, and fourth year at Chanhassen. I have previously taught at Chaska Middle School West too! I look forward to having some of you a second or third time, and welcoming those of you I have not had in class!

I attended the University of Minnesota Duluth for my Undergraduate Degree in Physical Science and Chemistry Education, graduating in 2014. I earned my Masters Degree in Educational Theory and Practice through Arkansas State University in 2017 and plan to start working towards my administration license in the fall of 2019!

If you have any questions, concerns, or comments during the year I would love to hear from you. Please don't hesitate to send me an email at eipperlew@district112.org or ozanw@district112.org both should come directly to me!

Feel free to give me a call at 952-556-7526 . The best times to reach me are before school, I arrive around 7:30 am, or after school until about 3:30 pm. You can email me anytime and I will get back to you as soon as possible! Students (and parents too!) are welcome but not required to follow me on Twitter at @mrseipperle or on instagram at @mrseipperle for fun reminders, classroom updates, and of course science puns!

I strongly believe in Personalized Learning and making my classroom a challenging opportunity for growth and authentic learning. To ensure that this happens I guide my practice using the district's 5 points of the star. District 112 is and I are committed to the 5 points of the star and its elements of purposeful learning, engagement with learning tools, collaborative environment, learner voice and choice, and purposeful learning, assessment, and feedback. I believe that implementing personalized learning and standards based instruction and grading helps us to achieve the 5 points.
