This is my 20th year in education. My first two years of teaching, I taught first grade in sunny California. I moved back to Minnesota and joined District 112. I taught Title I at Chaska Elementary for one year. The next seven years, I taught second and third grade at East Union. I then served as Lead Teacher for four years at East Union. I returned to the classroom and taught first grade for two years. This is my fourth year teaching K/1.
I am a 1998 graduate from the University of North Dakota where I received my Elementary Education Degree and Kindergarten Endorsement. Since then, I've earned my Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning through Saint Mary's University. I obtained my Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership with a K-12 Principal License from Minnesota State University in 2010.
I live in Shakopee with my husband, Rick, and twelve year old son, Riley. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, reading, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends.
