October & November News

Since the last newsletter was posted we have been doing some very exciting things in physical education. During the month of October we have our soccer unit with all our grade levels. During the week of Halloween the students will participate in Halloween themed stations that work on multiple skills including locomotor movements and sports-based skills including throwing and bowling skills. In the month of November we will be starting our basketball unit with the entire school and starting at the end of November we will be working on team building and cooperative learning skills. Also, just a friendly reminder that winter is quickly approaching and when your child has physical education class they need to have their gym shoes or they will not be allowed to participate in class for that day and will be given an alternative written assignment.
