Piano delegates, totaling 3 spots, have a versatile role in the IASAS music program. The piano delegates perform solo pieces and collaborate with at least three instrumental or vocal delegates at the CC showcase at ISB in February and travel to the IASAS host school in March each year. They participate in masterclasses, adjudication, and potential solo performances from among the 6 IASAS schools. Students not only perform and receive instruction but also watch performances by piano delegates from the other 5 IASAS schools. 

Since 2021, ISB has offered two spots for the piano home team. This team participates in the CC showcase at ISB by performing piano four-hand pieces but does not travel to other IASAS schools. The experience benefits students through collaboration between two pianists, enhancing their listening and ensemble skills in piano 4-hand repertoire. It's a fun and enjoyable opportunity to work with another pianist.
