The Test

  • 115 minutes long given in one section
  • Part 1: first 5 test questions, calculator not allowed
  • Part 2: remaining 41 test questions, calculator allowed
  • Includes multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, drop-down, hot spot and drag-and-drop items
  • Candidates are provided with an on-screen calculator, the Texas Instruments TI-30XS Multiview scientific calculator, for use on most of the items on the 2014 GED® Mathematics Test. You may also bring your own TI-30Xs calculator to use on the test.
  • Candidates are also given a reference sheet (displayed below).
