Return to Learn

Dear Isaac Community,

We are cautiously approaching the start of the 2020-2021 school year. Your input has shown us how important it is to provide our families options for student learning which contributed to the development of several school models. Therefore, both in-person and distance learning opportunities will be available.

At the June 11th, 2020, Governing Board meeting, administration shared the first look at the Isaac School District Return to Learn (RTL) Plan. You can view the slides from that presentation and also see the current plan below.

The RTL Plan allows us ample flexibility to adjust our instructional models based on whatever public health environment our schools find themselves in the future. We will also have the ability to respond as necessary throughout the year, in order to comply with the Center of Disease Control (CDC) Guidelines, the Arizona Department of Education, Executive Orders and also to honor your insight as parents and staff.

In alignment with our Isaac School District Strategic Plan; Growing Great Learners Together, we will continue our work to improve in the areas of (Goal 1) Exceptional Teaching & Learning and (Goal 2) Safe, Positive and Healthy School Environment. It is our priority to begin the school year as safely as possible and to leverage our resources to promote quality learning for all.

Thank you for your support, and I look forward to welcoming you back to school.

Mario Ventura, Ed.D.
Superintendent
Isaac School District No. 5
