This page is to answer any questions you might have about Mrs. Bott's math class.

- QUESTION: Where can I find the syllabus for my class?
- ANSWER: The syllabus for each course can be found on the class webpage or students can find it in their google classroom.
- QUESTION: When does school start?
- ANSWER: School starts on September 5, 2024. There is a school calendar located in student's google classroom and in the parent portal section of this website.
- QUESTION: What supplies do I need for this year?
- ANSWER: In Algebra you will be provided notes and practice packets. There will be some online work as well so you will need to show your work. Please use a binder system that will be explained in class. You may share the binder with ONE other subject (I usually suggest SCIENCE for those students taking the regents in both Math and SCIENCE in June). The supply list for my class can be found on this section of the website.
- QUESTION: Do I need to buy a graphing calculator for Algebra?
- ANSWER: In Algebra students are given a TI-84 plus to use in class for classwork and assessments. Students are NOT able to bring it home with them for homework. I suggest my students download an app on apple apps and google play called calculate 84 o4 calc 84 (depending what type of phone). This is a similar interface to the calculator we use in class. Students can also use desmos graphing calculator although the interface is different from the one we use in class and on assessments.

- QUESTION: What formats of class will be used for the 2023-2024 School Year?
- ANSWER: Students will be receiving instruction IN PERSON for the 2023-2024 school year. School is from 8AM to 2:20PM.

- ANSWER: School starts on September 7, 2023. There is a school calendar located in student's google classroom and in the parent portal section of this website.
