Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) is a term that encompasses supports for the whole child, and takes into account academics, behavior, and social/emotional supports.
Review teacher observations and parent contacts
Review previous and current absence records
Analyze and identify student challenges
SPED students will not be discussed at MTSS meetings due to already receiving services. Contact case manager with additional concerns.
SPEECH ONLY students can be brought to the MTSS Meeting.
504 Dyslexia, Behavior, ADHD etc. can be discussed at the MTSS Meeting
