The figure gives the context of the RFI Karoo Site Procedures:
At the top is the RFI standard that defines the protection levels - this is our aim to maintain that standard (See Ref Docs for the RFI Standard)
Implementing the standard is the RFI Policy, which gives the mandate and roles and responsibilities (See Ref Docs for the RFI Policy)
These top-level document then controls two documents:
For Construction: the Site Information and Instruction Document - this includes RFI with other site issues such as access, Health, and Safety, etc
For Operations: The RFI Karoo Site procedures, the Construction and Operations documents are interrelated since SKA1-MID Construction and MeerKAT Operations are being done at the same time
RFI management for both Construction and Operations are supported by:
Chamber RFI Tests,
Site RFI tests,
Site RFI Scans
RFI Audits
RFI Analysis and risk assessments
RFI Permits, and CoCs
RFI Monitoring
