Neuqua Valley Rocket Club

JOIN NOW UNTIL SEPTEMBER 20!

MEETINGS ARE EVERY TUESDAY AND THURSDAY AFTER SCHOOL IN A115

Who Are We?

The Neuqua Valley High School Rocket Club is open to all NVHS students. We have fun learning about rockets and aerospace vehicles, and we design, build, and launch rockets to meet specific performance requirements per the American Rocketry Challenge.

What Do We Do?

Students can join for fun or compete in the the American Rocketry Challenge, or ARC. ARC teams may qualify for the national competition in Virginia in May each year. Click here to learn more about the competition.

We meet weekly to learn about rocket design, build rockets and launch them - weather permitting.

"The mastery of space is man's greatest adventure and his most inspiring undertaking. It should spur us to maximum effort. The nation which mastered all man's earthly environment- land, sea, and air owes its destiny the mastery of the limitless environment of space."

- Wernher von Braun, 1960
