The SAT is an entrance exam used by most colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. The SAT is a multiple-choice digital test created and administered by the College Board.

International Pioneers School is a testing centre for SATs since 2020.

IPS will not directly register or collect payments from applicants.  Please register on the College Board website link provided above.

When registering for the test, please make sure that your name matches your proof of identification (Passport or Thai National ID). Test Takers whose admission tickets DO NOT match their Identification will not be allowed to take the test.

IPS does not offer study sessions or classes to prepare for the SAT, however, free online SAT practice is available at this link: Official SAT Practice by Khan Academy.

Information for Test Takers

Test Venue: Main Building, International Pioneers School

Check-in Time: 7:00 am

Materials to bring:

• Passport or Thai National ID

• Digital Admission Ticket from the Bluebook app. 

• Fully charged testing device with the Bluebook application installed and exam setup completed

• Calculator (please remove the back cover)

• Transparent pencil case with pencils or pens for scratch work

• Clear, label-free water bottle (if you would like to drink water between breaks)

Dress code: Smart Casual or School Uniform

Before the test starts:

• Double-check the time and date of your test, and be sure to arrive early to the test centre

• Make sure you have all your materials and identification AND the name on your "Admission ticket"matches the name on your "Passport or Thai National ID", otherwise you will not be allowed to take the test.  For changes BEFORE the exam, more information can be found here:  SAT Registration Changes

During the test and breaks:

• Do not use electronic devices or talk to anyone

• Parents/Guardians are not allowed inside the school premises.  Parking lot benches are available as their waiting area only.
