Currently works as the Deputy Global Coordinator of the International Indigenous Peoples Movement for Self-Determination and Liberation (IPMSDL), a global movement of Indigenous Peoples organizations, communities, and advocates. He is currently based in Quezon City, Philippines, where IPMSDL Global Secretariat is based. 


He joined IPMSDL in 2018 as Communications Officer focusing mainly on all publicity content and media releases, including networking and linkages development. His work focuses on campaigns, mobilization, and outreach on national oppression, liberation movements and right to self-determination, land rights, climate justice, and food systems.


Paul finished his Bachelor's in Journalism at the University of the Philippines and is now taking courses in Creative Writing. Before joining IPMSDL, he worked in broadcast media, communications, marketing, and event implementation. He has been a long-time student activist in the university, campaigning for the youth’s right to education. He also volunteered for human rights networks campaigning for the freedom of political prisoners and for peoples’ civil and political rights.
