Esther Haluk is an indigenous West Papuan human rights activist focusing on indigenous women's rights. The focus of her work includes the impacts of militarism on women and Indigenous Peoples. She has been working with organizations and communities on the issues of people’s health, environmental protection, and socio-political and economic concerns. She has also been long involved in faith-based organizations in West Papua.
