Curriculum

Curriculum Overview

At IPACA we believe in a focused curriculum that challenges our students and promotes deep learning. We want to provide students with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to be successful in their adult lives.

Our staff plan challenging lessons each day that push the students academically and promote a culture of success. We want pupils to take pride in their achievements and aim for their best.

At IPACA, we are teaching a traditional curriculum to all our students in Years 1-11. Our curriculum follows the National Curriculum for England very closely. It is designed to master key skills that will provide a platform for success at GCSE level.

Below, you will find our 'Curriculum Guides', each contain a subject-by-subject breakdown of the learning students in each year group will need to master across this half term. These are presented in the form of ‘Knowledge Organisers’.

We hope Knowledge Organisers will be a useful reference point when supporting your child with their home learning.

Our next Assessment Week will commence on Monday 27th March, 2017.
