To open up the conversation about mental health and create lasting change in the way mental health is talked about, cared for, and valued.

Where people who are interested in things outside our stratosphere can congregate once a month to have fun and learn some new things about the cosmos!

Bake A Wish aims to help children and teenagers who come from families that are unable to spare the funds to celebrate special occasions with a customized cake. Cake has long been in the spotlight of all celebrations. Our goal is to bring some joy (in the form of cake) into the lives of children and their families who lack the resources to mark milestones such as birthdays or holidays.

For us, every cake represents a different memory. We never forget a cake that we make and we know that the people who receive the cake will also cherish those memories forever. With Bake A Wish, we want to provide families with a happy memory to mark any special occasion. For us, it’s not just the memory of baking the cake and piping the flowers. For a child or a family in need, it’s not only about the the beautifully designed buttercream flowers, or the sweet taste of chocolate ganache. It’s about the memory of celebrating with your loved ones and the happiness you feel in your heart.

Bring the community together through the common interest of Bubble Tea. We also support local businesses and donate money to charity.

Planning chapel content and schedule. Also organizing and running weekly along with all school chapel.

To help you be confident in and value yourself and persevere through the tough times, while also spreading positivity and bringing more happiness into your life, and others’ lives!

Share our interest in sports with others and make new friends

Discuss different styles of fashion and art. We will talk about what we like to wear and the type of art we like.

To find more students who are interested in figure skating and introduce the sport to more students in ‘Iolani.

To promote gender equality at ‘Iolani and educate others about gender struggles and inequalities. It also serves as a space where girls can feel empowered and comfortable with their identity by learning about information, events and stories from other empowered women.

To share the "Gift of Music" and spread awareness to save the Music Tree.

Create a supportive, non-competitive group environment where girls learn to code, are exposed to computer science and the many ways coding can solve real problems and hear from inspiring adults in the computing field.

Introduce the basics of filmmaking, screenwriting, and directing with the goal of making a final film during the second semester.

This club would be a place for students both interested in getting into the Bible or just looking for a community of people who want to support their spiritual walk. We would choose a book to spend time reading & could have a discussion after reading 2-3 chapters each meeting. The discussion could be about how the reading made you feel, what it’s trying to teach us, how we can relate this to our own circumstances & more.

Community Building and Training for the ‘lolani Esports Team.

The purpose of the 'Iolani chapter of the GSA (Gender/Sexuality Alliance) is to provide a safe and supportive space for all students regardless of gender identity or orientation; to provide opportunities for education, socializing and a sense of belonging; as well as do outreach and education on campus and in the wider community to promote a safe and healthy environment for all students. This may include supporting guest speakers for the club or wider school, holding a "No Name-Calling Week", participating in the "Out of Darkness" annual walk, and fund-raising for relevant local, national or international charities.

To learn improvisational games and techniques, but mostly just to laugh. We perform our unabashed stupidity once a year at least.

To spread interest in lacrosse and grow the game

The purpose of this club will be to persuade and encourage students to figure out their future career pathway with ease before the stress of college applications. It will also allow students to be exposed to different career and major options so that they feel more prepared.

Have fun and discuss songs that we have been listening to at the moment. We would talk about why we love that song so much and will create community playlists for any mood.

A club that encourages students to explore different cultures and forms of entertainment. Mahjong is a game of strategy and community and we want to share that with other students.

Help student gain knowledge and apply skills to make fun and creative projects

To combine design and fabrication with entrepreneurship. Young entrepreneurs can design/fabricate prototypes of potential products using the tools available in the Sullivan Fabrication Lab. The Co-Presidents believe that this is a growing industry and that those interested in this should have a place to go in ‘Iolani.

Our club predicts and creates brackets for the annual NCAA March Madness basketball tournament. Each club member can create their own bracket and whoever predicts the one closest to the outcome of the tournament wins the March Madness Club Trophy as well as a pizza party for the club.

The goal of M.I.C. is to provide an easy-going and accepting community for students interested in learning math outside the classroom.

Students will participate in group discussions, lectures, creative projects (create some albums), and hopefully, conventions as well as informative field trips.

MPC will plan activities for different genres of music: Hip-hop, R&B, Jazz, etc.

We will also focus on different production applications such as: Logic Pro X, GarageBand, Schanlz, FL Studio, etc.

All noodle lovers are welcome. We want to introduce people to new kinds of Asian noodles, as well as connect to the culture behind them.

Live stream events (sports, performing arts, etc.) on campus to YouTube, and produce videos about 'Iolani School from a student's perspective. If you are interested in learning about camera operation, live studio production, audio production, or shooting and editing videos, this is the perfect club for you!

We would like to facilitate the process of making new friends for the boarding students, and make the transition smooth so they can learn to be more comfortable with the community.

Paddling enthusiasts can share in their love and enjoyment of an ocean sport unique to the culture of Hawaii.

The purpose of the Rubik’s Cube Club is for ‘Iolani students with an interest in Rubik’s cubes to meet other students with the same puzzle solving interest. At this club, members will learn to solve a Rubik’s cube, improve their speed, and help other members.

Many students find that science classes are really tedious. One of the reasons is that in every science class, there are always specific terms that are too abstract to understand based on only textbooks. In the Science in Film club, we share the principle to combine science with fun films as well as documentary clips to make students become more interested in science. Meanwhile, we want to help students increase their knowledge in science and introduce more students to various scientific fields. Science in Film Club: weaving stories through the scientific lens.

During this special time period, “students are at a time when relationships and connection to others is the metaphorical water needed by they growing selves.” Discussion of social issues will be a good way to create more communications between people. Also, by discussing social issues and exchanging thoughts, students can learn a lot from each other.

To allow students who enjoy writing, designing, and/or studying the STEM area to immerse in their areas of interest by creating a magazine of their own!

Come join third culture kids and learn more about what it’s like to live among a culture that is different from the one you grew up with. We will have information about third culture kids, share cultural experiences, and have fun!
