Welcome!
In High School, our teachers are dedicated to forming our students into young men and women who are ready to embark on their own personal journeys into the world, showing their knowledge, talent, and wisdom gained through each of their experiences both inside and outside of the classroom at IST.
We have full-time teachers, administrative staff members including a general counselor and college and career counselor, and a Chaplain on staff within our High School community. All of these individuals play an important role in our students’ lives and are truly what has shaped our high school into what it is today: a friendly, family-oriented environment that has served as a place of comfort, growth, academic success, and spiritual development.
Our High School curriculum extends across 10th, 11th, and 12th grade classes that are designed to meet American Standards for Learning in the core classes of English, Math, Spanish, and Science. Additional classes offered include: Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology, Economy, Personal Finance, Us History, World Politics, Contemporary History, History of Honduras, Computer Science, Bible, Orientation, Physical Education, and the elective of either Art, Music, or Drama.
Students, teachers, and parents have access to a variety of virtual tools and platforms for learning, communicative, and informational purposes. Some of these include Google Classroom, Class Dojo, and Strategist.
As we head into this new school year, we are excited to see God’s plan for IST and the way that He will allow High School to continue to shape student lives.
I look forward to working with you!
Blessings in Christ,
Mrs. Julie de Dávila
