Members' Lace Challenge 2 :
Lace Biscornu
Melanie Cervi, Monterey, California
My inspiration for colors is the rose in my garden. The rose is Strike it Rich. It's very similar to Double Delite. I think I would call the project Double Delite.
The pattern is based on Hidden Rose by Muskaan (member Meenakshi Jain) with beads added for stability.
Thank you for the challenge. I have learned valuable design experience!
Sally Jenkins, Creswell, Oregon
Pattern is called "Paperweight in Hearts and Fans," in The Torchon Lace Workbook by Bridget M. Cook. Thread size 80 tatting cotton.
Ronna Robertson, Manhattan, Kansas

Here is my most recent one using #8 perle cotton on a 4 1/2" torchon pattern I designed years ago.
