The Academic Center for Enrichment is the home of Interlochen's student academic support services. The mission of ACE is to serve the needs of the community's diverse learners. There are four programs built to specifically address distinct areas of need: Interlochen 101, Advanced Study, Assisted Study, and Tutoring services.

Dr. Michael Kern oversees ACE and Learning Support Services. Dr. Kern works closely with a staff of ACE Assistants who are drawn from all over campus. Jason Hubbard, Assistant Vice President for Academy Programs; Mary Ellen Newport, Director of Math & Science; and Eric Blackburn, Director of Liberal Arts work alongside Dr. Kern as a collaborative team in order to provide teachers with a better understanding of student learners, more timely intervention when students need support, and increased professional development opportunities to enhance the pedagogical expertise of faculty.
