This Privacy Policy explains how the Counter app ("the App"), developed by Intellaigence, handles information when you use it. We believe in privacy by design: the App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.
Information We Collect
We collect no personal information.
The App has no account system, no registration, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. It does not require internet access and functions entirely offline.
Data Stored on Your Device
The App saves only your local counter data on your device:
Your current count and lap number
Your selected count limit and theme preference
This data is stored locally on your device using your operating system's standard storage (SharedPreferences). It never leaves your device and is deleted when the App is uninstalled or when you reset the counter within the App.
Permissions Used
The App uses the following device capabilities, which involve no personal data:
Volume button detection — so you can count using the volume up/down buttons. The App may intercept volume-key events to prevent the system volume from changing while counting.
Vibration / haptic feedback — for tactile confirmation when counting.
No permission grants access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, messages, or any other personal information.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party services, analytics providers, advertising networks, or cloud services. No data is sent to us or to any third party.
Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for users of all ages. Because it collects no personal information, there is nothing to disclose or control regarding children's data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
