Therapy has the potential to allow you to gain a fresh perspective on life’s challenges and to respond differently to them than in the past. This is achieved not through advice giving or easy solutions, but rather by holding a space for you to access your inner resources through meaningful dialogue. I offer a supportive and reflective space for you to explore a range of emotional and behavioural concerns, from depression and anxiety to PTSD, grief, and stress.
I provide long-term, trauma-informed therapy to individual adults in-person and virtually, using an integrative relational-psychodynamic and emotion-focused approach. In our sessions, you can expect to explore current events and personal history as they relate to your presenting concerns. I aim to give my full attention to what you bring into the session, including the experiences, words, and emotions that you share.
Together we will notice patterns and themes that emerge in your relationships and the ways that you manage challenging emotions, circumstances, and people, with the goal of helping you foster insight and lasting change.
Following graduate training in Cultural Anthropology and a career in social science research, I was inspired to become a psychotherapist having experienced its benefits first-hand. I completed a Master of Arts program in Counselling and Spirituality at Saint Paul University, pursuing research on the mechanisms of change in mentalization-based psychotherapy and providing therapy to a diverse clientele at the Saint Paul Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre.
At IHPS I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) practicing under the supervision of Dr. Natalie Charron, C.Psych., R.P. I work with individual adults in both French and English. I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
I invite you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to learn more and decide if I am a good fit for your needs.
A free consultation is a brief, no-pressure video call to ask questions, share what you're looking for in therapy, and get a sense of whether a therapist feels like the right fit for you. It’s the first step in our process at Integrative Healing!
Comfort with your therapist is the most important thing. You’re welcome to book consultations with more than one clinician to help you decide who you feel most at ease with. You can begin therapy after the consult, or take time to decide.
