This week, a group of 1st year high school students are starting a new experience within the Erasmus+ project. The Archimede Technological Institute of Catania (Sicily) invited us to visit their center and their city together with a group of students from Serbia and Turkey in order to continue with the project KA210 "Diversity Bonds".
On the first day, the boys and girls from La Mitjana went to IT Archimede, where they made a presentation about our center and were able to visit the school workshops and laboratories. In the afternoon, they went for a walk around the city center.
On the second day of their stay in Catania, our students worked on complex systems and new technologies at IT Archimede. In the afternoon, they visited the city of Taormina, famous for its Greek theater. All the students participating in the Erasmus+ "Diversity Bonds" project shared school and fun experiences, getting to know each other better and strengthening ties.
The students participating in the Erasmus+ "Diversity Bonds" project attended an archeology class at the University of Catania and visited the Benedictine Monastery and Ursino Castle. They also had time to get to know the surroundings of the Duomo and the young quarter of the city better.
This was last day of stay in Catania when the students of the Erasmus+ "Diversity Bonds" project ended their stay in Sicily In the morning, they attended robotics and "Flipped Learning" classes. Afterwards, the diplomas were distributed to all the participants. In the afternoon, they walked along the promenade and in the evening they said goodbye after making some good pizzas. Thank you so much for everything! ♥️
