This morning we went to school at seven because we had classes. First, we played games and had breakfast to get to know each other. Then each of us joined our partner’s class and did different subjects. After that, we had a lesson about stereotypes between Germans and Spanish people. A German classmate also taught us a traditional dance. Finally, everyone went with their partner to do afternoon activities.

On the trip to Aquisgrán we took a tour and gave presentations about different places in the city.
During our free time we went to a shopping mall, and finally we returned to Heinsberg.
Today we left at 7:45 to go to Vogelsang, a Nazi center. We arrived there at 10:20 and had a two-hour guided tour. Afterward, we went to visit Monschau, a very picturesque, typical German village. We had lunch there, and at 4:00 PM we left for Heinsberg, but since it was raining, we all went back home and had a video call.
We got up at 6:45, and at 8:10 we met at the station. Once there, we took 4 trains to get to Cologne. There we had 2 hours of free time, which we used to go shopping and eat churros. Afterwards, we had a guided tour of the centre of Cologne with our guide Sander. At the end of the tour, we all had lunch together in a very traditional restaurant. Then we had another 30 minutes to walk around the streets of Cologne, and we bought some souvenirs.
Finally, we took the train back to Heinsberg and ended the day having dinner in McDonald's.
Today, our exchange group attended a Spanish class where we discussed bilingualism in Catalonia, which sparked a lively debate among the students. Afterward, we participated in a German cooking workshop and prepared traditional potato salad and sausages—it was all delicious! We also concluded our workshop on cultural stereotypes, reflecting on what we had learned during the week. In the evening, we enjoyed a fun farewell dinner at a restaurant where we went bowling to celebrate our last night.
After a wonderful week together, saying goodbye at Düsseldorf airport was a little difficult. We were tired but happy, reminiscing about everything we had done and learned during the exchange. As we made our way to our gate, we were already looking forward to seeing each other again in April in Lleida.
