LEGEND OF THE ORIGIN OF CHESS.

In a chessboard it has 64 squares (8x8) and the number of grains is doubled in each one, then the sum of grains is 1 + 2 + 4 + 8 ... and so on a total of 64 times. In the last box there will be a total of 9.223.372.036.854.775.808.

In the form of power it is 20+ 21+22+23... and so on until to 263

The base is the number 2 which expresses that it will be double in each square, while the exponents represent the position of each square: 1 for the 1st square, 2 for the second, 3 for the third, and so on.

It consists of doubling the power of two and accumulating the corresponding sum.
