In French, we will be:
Recognising ten ice cream flavours in French.
Using the term 'I would like' and the conjuctiion 'and'.
Learning how to say whether they'd like a cone or a small tub.
Specifying how many scoops of ice cream they would like.
In Reading, we will be exploring the children's reading fluency. In Summer 1, the children were assessed for their reading ages which has supported us in putting them into their fluency groups. This term in Summer 2 the children will be assessed again. These fluency lessons allow the children to access books and unpick them with discussions and written questions.
In RE, we will be:
Comparing the Christian story to my own view.
Explaining the Christian story of harvest.
Sharing the Islamic teachings to caring for the environment.
Discussing the roles and responsibilities in caring in for the world.
Exploring the importance of protecting the world in other religions.
In RHE, we will be:
Understanding the responsibilities of both children and adults to help all children benefit from their rights.
Understanding the strategies people use to cope with change
Understanding the environmental benefits of recycling.
Understanding the groups that make up the community.
Understanding that charities care for others and how people can support them.
Beginning to understand how democracy works in the local area.

At Delce Academy it is important that we encourage our children to:
Read every evening and record this in their reading record
Learn their spellings for the week
Practice their Times Tables daily using TTRS or the worksheet provided on the home learning pack

This is available for the children to play on to practise their timetables and number bots using Number bots
P.E:
Children will change at school so please ensure children have an appropriate sports kit for the weather.
PE days for individual classes will be sent home via Arbor.
