This scenario focuses on accountability in the workplace. 

You are a junior staff editor for a large media outlet in a metroplex, and there is concern regarding a story that is set to "go to bed" in an hour. The references the source cited for the publication are neither reliable or credible . 

When you brought this to the attention of the Copy Editor, they slammed the office door and told you to disregard what you found. They recieved verification of the source's credibility and it came from "upstairs". You were told to submit the story as is and move on.
