Mrs. Gunther's K4 Class
Welcome to the K4 class page!
My name is Lisa Gunther and I teach the K4 class. Here's a little bit about myself so you can get to know me! I attended ICA from K5-12th grade and graduated in 2003. I received my Early Childhood Education degree from Maranatha Baptist Univeristy in 2009. This is my 11th year teaching and 8th year at ICA. I have been married to Adam for 7 years. We have a 5-year-old son, Liam, who is in K5 this year, and a 1-year-old daughter, Addy.
We use a great combination for our curriculum in K4! We use Saxon Early Learning with Max the Bear which focuses on Math and Science. Our Splash Into PreK with Fanny Frog curriculum focuses on Social Skills. Our *NEW* Zoo-Phonics curriculum uses a whole group of fun animals to help us learn all our letters and sounds! Your child is sure to have fun with Max, Fanny, and our fun zoo animals as they learn and grow this year!
We use A Beka Bible curriculum for our Bible class. We will learn many different Bible verses in class as well as learn about many of the great men and women in the Bible.
Each week, we will have different special classes. We rotate between Music Monday, Math Monday, Messy Monday, and Make A Difference Monday. Wednesday is our library day where we will get to go upstairs to our school library to hear stories and look at books. On Fridays, we will have a movement class in the gym.
I hope you've enjoyed this small picture of what our K4 class is all about. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions! You can call the school office at 765-643-7884 and ask to speak with me or email me directly at email@example.com.
