HOW INCFROG HAS RESPONDED TO THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC

The Coronavirus Pandemic called for unconventional approach to work methods and safety of our team and community. In 2020, the Covid-19 outbreak forced our nation to call for a total lockdown; following which, our offices were shut and the team resumed work from home.
Here is the complete information on how we have acted during the pandemic in 2020 and how we are continuously taking steps towards the safety of our team members and community.
Section 1 - Lockdown in 2020 | India & Singapore
As the cases of Covid-19 kept rising in the neighbourshood of Kolkata, West Bengal and surrounding places, Incfrog's Kolkata offices (including design office of HueNi Studio Pvt Ltd) were closed until further notice on March 20, 2020. This was done to ensure safety of the team members. Client meetings were scheduled online and the office was sanitised before locking down. A few days later, the entire nation was placed under complete lockdown from March 24, 2020 for 21 days as a preventive measure against the COVID-19 pandemic in India.
The entire team worked from home and the organisation was connected internally through various digital tools and CRM utilities to make sure services were up and running 24x7.
There were no pay-cuts for employees, and new team members were hired virtually to support the work ecosystem and to ensure 100% service availability to existing and new clients, online.
The nationwide lockdown kept extending after 21 days with restrictions on travel, offices, public movement in marketplaces, etc. Incfrog offices remained closed till June 11, 2020.
SINGAPORE UPDATE
A new sales office was opened in Singapore on July 01, 2020. However, complete pandemic protocols were maintained by the local team. No physical meetings were held in the premises.
Section 2 - Sanitisation, Safety & Thermal Checks
Incfrog opened its offices on June 12, 2020 partially. Team members had to follow certain rules to ensure safety of self and others:
Employees came to office every alternative day for only 3 days in a week.
Face masks were made mandatory. 3-ply cotton masks were distributed to team members from office premises.
The office premises is cleaned with disinfectant solution everyday.
Employees are allowed to enter only after body temperature checks at the main gate with thermal scanner. In case of any anomaly, the respective team member will be sent back home safely and can continue to work from home until health checks suggested 'fit to travel to work'.
Sharing of food is no more allowed in the office.
Footwears / shoes from outside need to be opened outside main work area.
Hand wash is mandatory after entering office.
Section 3 - Quick Leave Response & Approval
From July 2020, when the lockdown was lifted with certain restrictions, our offices also opened full-swing. But the rules and regulations to prevent from COVID-19 infection have been followed strictly till date.
In case any team member doesn't feel well, immediate leave is granted and work from home is enforced with the consent of the employee if the respective doesn't feel physically fit to travel to work.
Health benefits have been added to the Employement Policy of the company, to be enforced by employee consent.
Section 4 - 2021 Continued Protective Measures
APRIL-JUNE 2021 UPDATE
The Tollygunge area office has been shut down from April 20, 2021 until further notice due to the rising active cases of COVID-19 across the nation. The entire team is now working from home. Physical client meetings have been cancelled and only virtual meetings are allowed until there are clear directives by the State or Central Government.
The office is being sanitised every week apart from regular cleaning.
As per orders by the Govt. of West Bengal, there will be partial lockdown from May 1, 2021 in the state. Following the orders, our offices shall remain closed in the month of May 2021.
As of June 01, 2021 - the company shall bear vaccination expenses of its employees in case the vaccines (Covishield, Covaxin, etc.) are received from private institutions / hospitals / community centres, etc. where a fee is charged for each dosage.
As of July 5, 2021 our Kolkata offices have opened after vaccinating 100% of our workforce.
As of October 2021, all members of our organization have received 2 doses of COVID19 vaccine. They are Fully Vaccinated.
As of October 2021, COVID19 protocols set by State Government are being followed strictly and half of the human resource have been assigned Work From Home mode of work to keep crowd to the minimum at the office premises.
