20th Workshop: Noncommutative Probability, Operator Algebras and Related Topics, with Applications
Będlewo, 6-12 July 2025
Będlewo, 6-12 July 2025
The Conference is organized since 1997 and is inteded as the forum integrating various topics being in and around noncommutative harmonic analysis and probability. The forthcoming event will be celebrating 20th Anniversary of it presence in the mathematical community. It has evolved from being devoted to the relations between harmonic analysis and probability, into presentations of the development of noncommutative harmonic analysis and noncommutative probability, and their relations with classical probability, operator spaces, operator algebras, noncommutative stochastic processes, quantum groups, random matrices, mathematical physics etc. Since 2004, the Workshops traditionally take place in Będlewo at the Stefan Banach Conference Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Information about previous editions can be found here.
The format of the meeting will include invited talks, sessions with contributed talks and a poster session. "Baby talks" are planned as introductory lectures for young participants. A special session in memory of profesor Michael Leinert will take place on Tuesday.
We invite experienced as well as young researchers (Ph.D students and PostDocs) to present their recent results, to exchange new ideas and to step forward collaboration.
The conference will be held 6-12 July 2025 (recommended arrival on Sunday, July 6 afternoon and departure on Saturday, July 12 after lunch). It will take place in the Research and Conference Centre of the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Będlewo. The talks will last from Monday morning till Saturday lunch.
