We’re looking for day-of event support for our annual teacher appreciation event, the Impact Awards. We’ll need volunteers to help us check-in our guests, and set up for the event.

  • Must be able to safely lift 20 pounds

  • Must be at least 15 years old

We're looking for energetic and fun-loving volunteers to serve on our Special Events Committee. Help make our annual gala fun, exciting and welcoming for guests!

This highly productive committee meets monthly to help with event planning and is encouraged to attend IOE events.

Volunteers are needed to help test, inventory, and repair instruments (no music expertise required).

Volunteers are needed to assist tutoring students with school credit recovery, ESL classwork, and concurrent enrollment course support. Volunteers with experience working with first generation students are encouraged to participate.

After attending a volunteer orientation, there are two things we need prospective volunteers to do:

1. Sign our Waiver & Release Form

2. Fill out our Volunteer Information Form

As a volunteer you are a representative of our organization. Which is great because you can help share our work with the community! This also means we are counting on you to:

1. Be professional and courteous

2. Provide excellent customer service

3. Keep all donor, student, and grant information confidential

4. Be dependable, prompt, reliable, and communicative

• To present yourself as an IOE volunteer, not a staff member

• If you can’t answer a question, that’s okay!

• If you encounter someone angry/unhappy/disruptive, please refer them to an IOE staff member
