The AI+Science seminar (formerly AI+Genomics) series aims to bridge the gap between the realms of machine learning and various areas of science. Tailored for graduate students and postdocs, this series aims to cultivate a collaborative environment where traditional science intersects with AI. Our seminars serve as a unique space for fostering interdisciplinary dialogue, encouraging knowledge exchange, and igniting potential collaborations.
This year, our goal is to spark new ideas for applying machine learning to tackle challenges in specific areas of science. We’ll host a session each, featuring speakers from the experimental and AI sides of the field, each sharing their perspectives on current problems in the field. In the third session, attendees will form teams and collaborate to brainstorm and develop ideas, which they can then submit for evaluation. The most promising ideas will win prizes (details coming soon!). Be sure to check the schedule tab for updates.
Lunch will be provided
