About SMACM Lab
Our lab specializes in the manufacturing, testing, and modeling of Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composite materials. We integrate advanced techniques to explore material behavior across multiple scales starting from micro to structural level under various loading conditions.
Key focus areas include:
Design and manufacturing of FRP composites tailored for optimal structural performance.
Experimental testing to evaluate mechanical properties and failure mechanisms under quasi-static and fatigue loads.
Finite Element (FE) modeling to predict fatigue life, stress-strain, and damage behavior of composite materials at different length scales.
