Welcome to my webpage!! 

I am Devnarayan Dhiwar, PhD scholar in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Ropar.

My undergraduate studies in mechanical engineering were finished at the Bhilai Institute of Technology in Raipur, and my master's degree in machine design was earned at the Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur. 

I joined the PhD programme at IIT Ropar under Dr. Prabhat K. Agnihotri's supervision because of my interest in composite materials and the creation of structural health monitoring systems. I have been awarded with prestigious Prime Minister Research Fellowship (PMRF) in May 2022 cycle. 

I'm currently developing a new non-destructive technique for identifying damage in body armor made from composite materials while also improving their mechanical properties.
