Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) Outreach Program at IIT Mandi
We are excited to announce that IIT Mandi is hosting an Outreach Programme in collaboration with the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). A delegation of DAE scientists will be on the campus for the workshop, where they will share DAE activities in various disciplines.
Topics would include but not be limited to Material Science for high temperature and high radiation applications; Material science; Electronics and Instrumentation for accelerators and nuclear reactors; Power electronics; Image processing; Data acquisition and control; Mathematical modelling and Simulation; Estimation and Control; Robotics; Nuclear Physics; Solid-state Physics; Astro-physics; RF and Lasers’ research and applications; Neutron-beam research; Technical physics – development of gas sensors; Chemistry- theoretical and applied; Analytical chemistry; Water and Steam Chemistry; Development of high-temperature materials; Use of radiation for agricultural research, food preservation, and Radiopharmaceuticals’ development and applications.
