RESEARCH INTERESTS
Electrohydrodynamic: Electrocoalescence of water-in-oil emulsions, electrodesalter design and optimization, electrostatic-separator, multiphase flow separation, enhanced oil recovery.
Membrane technology: Development and fabrication of polymeric and ceramic membranes, proton exchange membrane, membrane fabrication using local and natural resources.
Water/wastewater treatment: Development of electrocoagulation, ultrafiltration for water treatment, greywater treatment, and sewage treatment plant.
Dr. Vikky Anand received his doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. During his PhD, he worked on the electrocoalescence of droplets and emulsions, which has broader applications in the emulsion, desalting, and separation industries. Currently, Dr Vikky Anand is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Jodhpur.
