My research primarily focuses on Blockchain Technologies, with a particular emphasis on advancing scalability, security, and privacy, the core challenges that shape the evolution of decentralized systems. I extensively work on Layer-2 and Off-chain Protocols, especially privacy, security and scalability of Payment Channel Networks (PCNs), which play a crucial role in enabling high-throughput and low-latency transactions. In addition, I am deeply engaged in studying and developing Cross-chain Communication mechanisms, Data Availability Solutions, and other foundational components that strengthen the reliability and interoperability of distributed ledgers. A significant part of my work also explores emerging and interdisciplinary blockchain applications, including: Social Internet of Vehicles (SIoV), Local Energy Markets (LEM), and other novel domains where decentralized trust, security, and verifiable computation are essential. Going forward, I aim to broaden my work across the wider landscape of privacy, security, and Applied Cryptography, with a special interest in Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) systems and their applications in scalable, privacy-preserving blockchain infrastructures and Decentralized and Secure AL/ ML.
