I am currently a Ph.D. scholar in the Computer Science and Engineering department of the Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur, India. I am working in the area of object detection from remote / aerial imagery under the supervision of Dr. Chiranjoy Chattopadhyay and Dr. Debasis Das.
My research interests include Multi-modal Image Classification, Object Detection, Deep Learning, Explainable AI, and Applied Machine Learning in remote sensing imagery.
Our work titled "Synergizing Vision and Language in Remote Sensing: A Multimodal Approach for Enhanced Disaster Classification in Emergency Response Systems" accepted in the International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS-2024).
Our work titled "EVDnet: Towards explainable multi scale, anchor free vehicle detection Network in high resolution aerial imagery" accepted in the International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS-2024).
Received a travel grant for participating in the IGARSS-2024 in July 2024 from the SERB- India .
Our work titled "CrisisKAN: Knowledge-infused and Explainable Multimodal Attention Network for Crisis Event Classification", accepted in 46th European Conference on Information Retrieval (ECIR 2024).
