Dr. B. Prathap Reddy is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Indore. He has worked as a Power Electronics Hardware Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover India, from Dec 2023 to May 2024, as a DST Inspire Faculty at the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering at IISC, Bengaluru from Jul 2021 to Dec 2023 and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Qatar University, Qatar from May 2019 to July 2021. He did his PhD in Power Electronics and Drives from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, India in 2019. During his PhD, received the Excellence in Research Award, and Appreciation in Research Awards for the years 2018 and 2019 respectively at IIT Hyderabad, India. He did a research internship at Nissan Motor Co., Ltd, Japan from Dec 2017 to Feb 2018. His research work is recognized in 20+ transactions/ journals, 2 US patents, 2 Indian patents, and 15+ conference proceedings and a few papers are under review.
