ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The Department of Biotechnology and the Department of Biomedical Engineering, IIT Hyderabad, jointly in collaboration with the Param Hansa Centre for Computational Oncology, IISc Bengaluru, present the 'Workshop on Computational Oncology: Modelling and Experiments,' a state-of-the-art event highlighting the latest advancements in modern oncology. The workshop aims to provide young researchers and emerging scientists with an overview of interdisciplinary approaches that acknowledge cancer as a systems biology disease. The contents of the workshop will cover modern techniques that allow to study the molecular and cellular heterogeneity that present as cancer hallmarks. A broad spectrum of computational modelling and experimental technologies will be introduced to the audience through lectures encompassing research and pedagogy following a panel discussion with eminent scientists.
