I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Mechanical, Materials, and Aerospace Engineering at IIT Dharwad since July 14, 2023. My research areas include computational materials science, specializing in self-cleaning and multifunctional coatings. I utilize software like LAMMPS, Materials Studio, and ABAQUS to optimize and gain fundamental insights into materials behavior. Prior to this role, I worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science at IIT Bombay from June 2021 to June 2023. I earned my PhD in Polymer & Process Engineering from IIT Roorkee in February 2021 and have authored around 40 research publications, including international peer-reviewed SCI journals, conferences, books, and book chapters. I am honored to have received the Best Doctoral Thesis Award from the Department of Polymer & Process Engineering, IIT Roorkee.
