I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad. Prior to this position, I was a Tech. Lead. in Industrial Machinery Division of L&T Technology Services Limited, Vadodara. There, I worked on projects related to motor control for power-tool applications.

I worked as a Project Research Scientist at IIT Bombay, soon after finishing my PhD in April 2023. The project was awarded by an industry, and dealt mainly with the system level modeling of electric machine and drive. During my doctoral research, I worked on design of electric motors for magnetic levitation application.

My research interests include electric machine design and optimization, finite-element modeling, magnetic levitation devices, power-electronics and instrumentation. I am also interested in development of affordable and easily accessible/re-producible setups intended for teaching various concepts of electrical engineering.
