Bio-Sketch:
Debanand Singdeo, PhD works as senior engineer in the Education Team at MathWorks India Private Limited (Bangalore). In this role, he collaborates with academic institutions for effective utilization of MathWorks resources in education and research. He is passionate about technologies related to Electrification, Data Science and Internet of Things. He has an interdisciplinary background with Bachelor’s degree in Physics (Hons.) from Visva Bharati, Santiniketan, followed by MSc-PhD degree from the Department of Energy Science and Engineering, IIT Bombay. In previous roles, he has worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Denmark where he was part of an industry-academia consortium that focused on fuel cell commercialization. He has also taught courses and simulation lab on Energy Systems as DST Inspire faculty at Tezpur University, Assam.
