Amar got his PhD in this year, 2024. He completed his Integrated M.Sc. from Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences and joined CESSI, IISER Kolkata in 2015 as PhD student (INSPIRE fellow). Currently he is a postdoctoral researcher in the Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES). 

Roshan got his PhD in this year, 2023. He completed his B.Sc. from Banaras Hindu University and joined IISER Kolkata in 2014 as Int. PhD student.

Avijit got his PhD in this year, 2022. He completed his B.Sc. from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira and M.Sc. from IIT-Kharagpur and joined IISER Kolkata in 2015 as PhD student (INSPIRE fellow). Currently he is a postdoctoral researcher in the University of Bayreuth, Germany

Souvik got his PhD in this year, 2022. He completed his B.Sc. (Midnapore college) and M.Sc. from Vidyasagar University and joined IISER Kolkata in 2015 as PhD student. Currently he is pursuing postdoctoral studies from Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST), Japan.

Subhro got his PhD in 2020. He completed his B.Sc. from Siliguri College under University of North Bengal (NBU) and joined IISER Kolkata in 2012 as Int. PhD student. Here he worked in the project Controlled pattern formation using Optical Tweezers and Physics of micro-bubbles.

Shuvojit Completed his B.Sc. from Chakda College under University of Kalyani and Int. PhD from IISER Kolkata in 2019. After his postdoctoral studies in University of Konstanz (Germany), he is back with us as a postdoctoral researcher.

Sudipta completed his B.Sc. from Presidency College (Now Presidency University), M.Sc. from IIT-Kharagpur and PhD from IISER Kolkata in 2018.

Basudev completed his Integrated BS-MS from IIT-Kharagpur, MS from University of Maryland, PhD from IISER Kolkata in 2014 and Post Doctoral studies from Cellular Nanoscience Group, University of Tuebingen, Germany in 2017. He joined IIT-Madras in April, 2017 as assistant professor.

Biporjoy completed his PhD from IIT Madras and joined IISER Kolkata in 2019 as postdoctoral fellow.

Sumeet obtained his PhD degree from IIT Madras under Dr. Basudev Roy. Currently he is working as a assistant professor in DSE University, Delhi.

Caroline Girmen Joined IISERK as DUO-India exchange programme student for the duration January-March 2020 from the University of Münster, Germany.

Sourav completed his B.Sc. from Vidyasagar College under University of Calcutta (CU) and joined IISER Kolkata in 2014 as Int. PhD student. Completed his MS degree in 2017 and joined Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria as PhD student.

Unnati completed MS by Research in Space Physics from CESSI, IISER Kolkata in 2019 and joined IIT Bombay as JRF student.

Kirty completed his Integrated BS-MS degree in 2025. 

Anurit completed his Integrated BS-MS degree in 2024. He worked on experimental studies of micro-fabrication using Laser-induced microbubble lithography.

Jesneil completed his Integrated BS-MS degree in 2025. 

Gaurav completed his Integrated BS-MS degree in 2023. He worked on experimental studies of Spin-Orbit Interaction of Light. Currently, he is pursuing his doctoral studies at the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center of Marseille (CINaM), France

Suyash completed his Integrated BS-MS degree in 2023. He worked on experimental studies of micro-bubble lithography.  Currently he is pursuing his doctoral studies at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).

Aniruddh completed his Integrated BS-MS degree in 2021. He worked on theoretical and computational study of trapping micro particles in air. Currently, he is pursuing his doctoral studies at the University of Maryland.

Aman completed his Integrated BS-MS degree in 2021. He worked on Brownian motion measurements of particle trapped in air.  Currently he is pursuing his doctoral studies at University of Adelaide.

Raunak completed his Integrated BS-MS degree in 2020. He studied Interactions and diverse effects in viscoelastic fluids using Optical Tweezers. Currently he is pursuing his doctoral studies at Georgia Institute of Technology.

Debapriya completed his Integrated BS-MS degree in Physics from IISER Kolkata in 2019 and joined as research assistant at ITE,Greece.

Prithviraj completed his Integrated BS-MS degree in Physics from IISER Kolkata in 2019. Currently pursuing his doctoral studies at Simon Fraser University.

Randhir completed his Integrated BS-MS degree in Physics from IISER Kolkata in 2018. Currently pursuing his doctoral studies at University of Münster.
