These recent years have seen a surge in the attempts to colonise planets other than Earth and also in the search for those (in and outside our solar system) which can support life. A major part of this research tries to classify planets into a number of classes depending on their location or the distance from their host star. This 'location' governs a wide variety of factors that can precisely control the existence of life on a planet. Some of these factors can be the existence of liquid water, oxygen and other gases, average temperatures (and it's fluctuations) etc.
Apart from that, the presentation concentrated over the projects planned to colonise Mars, moon and our twin - Venus. But as we all know, we have successfully failed in our search for life elsewhere. Hence, at the end we come to a discussion of why we are/could be alone.
