The IISER Bhopal Math Circle is an initiative aimed at identifying bright and inquisitive school students inclined towards Mathematics, and nurturing their mathematical aptitude via a natural exposure to the joy of mathematical problem-solving.

The first module of the IISER Bhopal Maths Circle was held in IISER Bhopal campus over weekly discussion sessions on four consecutive Saturdays starting from August 19, 2023. These sessions involved mathematical problem-solving emphasizing on open-ended explorations with a playful disposition towards doing Mathematics.

The explorations have been designed by active researchers in Mathematics and the discussion sessions will led by Ph.D. students and researchers with a flair for communication and pedagogy.
