Dr. Payal Wadhwa Assistant Professor Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara
Hi,
Welcome to my homepage!
I am Payal Wadhwa, a Computational Condensed Matter Physicist, currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Physics at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
I earned my Ph.D. from the Department of Physics, IIT Ropar. Following this, I carried out Postdoctoral research in the Department of Physics at the University of Cagliari, Italy, and later in the Faculty of Physics, Computational Materials Physics (VASP Group), at the University of Vienna, Austria. Currently, I am also serving as a member of the Asian Consortium for Computational Materials Science (ACCMS) and Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT).
My research interests include Machine-learning–aided materials modelling, Oxide heterostructures for Spintronic and Spin-caloritronic applications, Topological materials, and Low-dimensional systems.
