About Me

I am a masters student at Universität des Saarlandes, Saarbrücken, Germany. My master's degree in Computational Linguistics aims at basic, cognitive, and applied research on spoken and written languages focusing on various fields such as psycholinguistics, phonetics, and speech science or speech technology.

Previously I was working professionally as a software development engineer at UnitedHealth Group. Before that, I had been closely working under the guidance of Dr Rajiv Ratn Shah and Dr Debanjan Mahata on problems related to machine learning and natural language processing at MIDAS Labs, IIIT-Delhi. I have also collaborated with Dr Rakesh Gosangi and Dr Raghava Mutharaju on a few projects as well.

I completed my undergraduate degree from IIIT-Delhi (2015-2019) in Computer Science and Engineering. My research interests broadly consist of topics related to Computational Social Science, Information Retrieval, and Knowledge Graphs. My work in these areas has been recognized at several top-tier NLP and AI venues such as NAACL-HLT, AAAI, ICWSM, ACL, ICDM, and IEEE, BigMM, and more. [July 2022] Started working on a project related to adapting Large Language Models for various use cases at DFKI, Berlin under the supervision of Dr. Georg Rehm
