Spandan is a diligent, composed and self-motivated individual who has been lauded for his sincerity and discipline. His internships with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC-India) and ICMR-NICED (Calcutta) have honed his research and managerial skills. Academically, Spandan has been a 'Gold medalist' (college topper) in his Masters in Zoology as well as received the 'Director's merit scholarship' consecutively from IIFM (OGPA - 3.80/4.33) for his sustained academic excellence. He has also been actively involved in leadership roles with the Placement and Alumni Network Committee; along with catering to his creative side through leading IIFM's monthly newsletter, coordinating the literary club and inculcating his western vocal skills at various cultural events.
